Welcome to the course room for the field trip to South Tyrol!
During the field trip, topics from the compulsory modules of the first and second semesters are taken up and illustrated using examples in the destination country.
This year we will travel to South Tyrol from May 12th-17th, where we would like to learn more about the connection between tourism and regional development.
During the excursion, we plan to talk to the destination management organization of South Tyrol and dive deeper into the topics of synergies between agriculture and tourism as well as barrier-free tourism as facilitating factors for regional development.
Through the physical experience in the area and the personal exchange with experts, you will gain in-depth insights.
During the excursion, various tasks and questions are to be worked on individually or in groups. The impressions gained are reflected on and discussed in evaluation rounds. In addition, we will critically question our own travel behavior.
